What the coverup by CBS is: McCain's real answer shows his lack of knowledge. Anbar Awakening started 3 months before the surge was announced. Col. McFarland came to Anbar province in May. 8 months after the Awakening was operating.

AND, the next September, the founding sheik was killed by a bomb, not protected as McCain says. And such complete screwing up of the facts is why CBS put in the phony answer to the question, instead of McCain's made-up answer. Lies or foolishness. All the McSame.

Let's not forget that McCain said he walked the streets there without body armor and no guards.But when the video came out he was wearing armor and was surrounded by troops.And he said Portrais goes out daily with out protection and Portrais said "no I don't".

It is well known now that the decrease in violence is/was a result of large sums of $ being handed out to all the violent factions. There have been reports from soldiers on the ground, who have gone around distributing wads of cash. CBS and MCCain are both liars and cheats.

The arguement that the media supports Obama because it shows more of Obama is stupid. To show less of McCain and all his mistakes is to be biased towards McCain. The MSM would love to show more of McCain but can't because everything he says and does can not be reported because it would not put him in a positive light. To show more of Obama and less of McCain is media bias towards the right.

true but you can't deny the social implications of these abortions. We (minorities) tend to be lower wage earners, and have higer rates of poverty. That is what drives the higher abortion rates. It's not a covert operation to wipe out minorities. You can't mix up the main point with side effect issues. Address the main problem and other issues will follow suit.
