  • Holy Sh*tballs! I want him to sing this song at my wedding!!

    Freakin AMAZING! I got chills!

  • I shared him doing Unaware on Conan with my mom a week ago. She didn't like it and said he wasn't as good as Stevie Wonder. I found this song when looking at other videos of him. I knew it was Stevie's song but I never listened to any version of it before. I figured I would check it out. It really blew me away at the end. Thought my mom would like to hear the song so I shared Stevie's version. She didn't like it. Showed her the last minute of this version and she kept saying "wow" in amazement :)

  • @jayxftw This song happens to be one of my favorite songs and this was the first time I've heard Stone. I stand by my comments. His rendition did not do anything for me. However, since my original post, I have seen and listened to quite a bit of his music and I actually like him! He's definitely a breath of fresh air in today's world of pop music dominated by autotune. The guy's got SOUL! He IS legit and I am sold on Mr. Stone.

  • @MrPatricioG Have you bothered to listen to any of his own music? Allen Stone is the man, and has an amazing stage presence. He is legit. For you to say that...really shows you haven't given him much of a shot.

  • He just made Stevie Wonder see for the first time.

  • 62 people cried with me.

  • its not blood that flows thought this man.. its music.

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!!!

  • This guy is ok and he seems to have some vocal chops, but he's not bringing anything unique to the table. He sounds like someone trying to copy and impersonate Stevie's vocal phrasing. Would have liked to have heard him add his *own* touch to the song, that is, if he *has* his own style. Michael Buble's live version of this cover IS unique and very good.

  • @kissandra check out Stevie's 2005 performance of this song at Abbey Road...he can barely get through it due to memories of Syreeta Wright, who had recently died and whom he wrote the song about. But he finishes so strong, it's unbelievable. You can find it here on YT.
