Cracker/Camper Van Beethoven are in the top 5 of my fav bands ever. so amazing - so underrated. Thanks boys for being so damn cool. The rest of list: Ween, Modest Mouse, Dead Hot Workshop. In concert - David Lowery and Johnny Hickman are unbelievable! A religious experience. So if they dont want to sign an autograph or take a pic -- it matters not - they already gave me the best of gifts.

(continued from below) if lowery is a "z-lister" (your words) y u so worried about snapping a photo with him? i tell u y: cos he IS cool. he is the real deal. now go puff one and put on a nice set of cans and listen to any number of his recordings from 1985 to the present and show some gratitude and have a laugh at how ridiculous your comments were...btw, if you can produce identification indicating it is your birthday MAYBE u can get that pic with one of the hardest working artists in the biz!

joecool-i normally wouldn't respond to posts like yours, but i have dealt with just enough fucked up shit in the past 48 hours that i'm gonna take this opportunity to vent. you obviously have never gigged. that's a sure bet. because if you had you would understand where david is coming from with the no pictures/no mingling thing. what on earth do you think this man owes you? is 300 songs and nearly three decades of touring large and small venues alike not enough for you? By the fact that you would make such a comment on the Internet, I am going to hypothesize that you are a 5 foot 2, 55 year old, welfare-receiving, fat ass who still lives with Mom. You may not actually be that person, but it is an absolute shitty person that says a thing like that. If David Lowery is D-List, you are Z-List, my friend. Cracker is still a great band and you can shove a fork up your ass.

@Wingnutserstoopid I feel for ya. They have been one of my fav. bands of the last 15 yrs & I finally had the chance to see them in Pittsburgh this June & I was excited to see them & try to get a pic or autograph but not only did they not come out to see their fans but the only thing he had to say the whole time was that the venue smelled like a wet dog. Gee thanks, I'm glad I drove 200+ miles to see them play a 45 min set & then tell the crowd "fuck you". Time to hang em up David..

@JoeCool031619 I agree. I saw Cracker in Akron last night and I asked to get my pic taken with him after the show. He declined. He was playing in front of about 200 people. He needs to get the fuck over himself.
