Cyndi remembering the nun who beat her up for scratching another girl's back. " As a kid I wondered if God had told them to march us around at 6 AM, and to make us take cold showers," she said. A girl who had taken another candy was placed in solitary confinement and screamed the entire day for her mother who had recently died. One older girl clandestinely defied the nuns in dress and attitude. Cyndi talked of her years later on tour c. 2007 with admiration.

@emmapples for effect. pink floyd is british and the song is sung in a british accent especially the chorus part.

All star shows are always tough and Roger did an amazing job here. Historic show at the the Berlin Wall! imo the best: Sinead O'connor, Bryan Adams (his duet with Roger in empty spaces was great!), Ute Lemper, Paul Carrick (hey you). Misses: Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison. People goof on Cindy Lauper doing another Brick... but I thought she was fun and Thomas Dolby coming out at the end was great!

@pigfaceddog she isn't British... obviously, but why on earth is she singing in a cockney (london) Accent?....

she turned this song of revolutions into a piece of shit 80's junk with sex appeal. crap. what was roger thinking brinning her in? like a female version of bryan adams. roger mustve been off his rocker. roger sings this better this she does. if you cant have david gilmour singing like in the studio with you rog, then do it yourself with you own dark demonic and rocking voice.

She does a good job here, but the real live version is much better, when shes dancing with the guitar player and keyboard player, and trying to scare the teacher away at the end, its really good.
