Some one or two years ago, discovered and fell in love with this beautiful monster film, The Monster Squad (1987), a wonderful tribute to the classic Universal Monsters: Count Dracula, the Frankenstein Monster, the Mummy, the Wolf Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon (too bad the Invisible Man doesnt appear but, anyway, he technically isnt a monster), and also bringing back the Brides of Dracula.

So I decided to make a music video on the movie, and I knew just the song that would fit perfectly: Michael Jacksons classic song Thriller. Originally, I was going to make a music video using clips from the old classic Universal horror movies using the same song, but then The Monster Squad appeared in my way.

I hope you like both the movie and the video. Please comment or rate and tell me your opinion. I do not own the rights to this film nor the song, I have made it just for fun and I do not make money out of this.

  • Yay Monster Squad, I have the dvd upstairs might have to watch it sometime lol this movie is epic love the video went straight to my favorites.

  • Thank you for this window back into my childhood favorite movie. I loved the 1961 Cadillac funeral coach so much, that when I bought an 1986 Fleetwood Cadillac in the summer of 2000, I bought a skull shifter and fastened it as a hood ornament.

  • Just got done watching this movie its acually better than i expected.
