If you work and pay taxes, carry insurance on your home or car, belong to an HMO or are putting money away for retirment, you depend on the work of Actuaries. Entry level job search and internships.
I've decided not to become an actuary. You can see my post is 2 years old. I'm currently going to grad. school to get my Masters degree and teaching certification to teach math at the secondary level. I realized I didn't want an office job, even if the pay is great. Good luck to all!
I have a problem with videos like this because I glosses over the fact many people spend a big chunk of their life on exams and end up never making it.
oh yea that is an old post... hope the teaching thing works out for you.

Me too... what steps have you taken to try to break the field? Planning on taking an exam?
If you work really hard and stay consistent, I can't see why we can't make it in this game.
