every time i watch a video i only hear sound and all blank do u knwo why?

can this help to fix a mpeg file? Only VLC can play the whole thing, other programs such as nero get runtime errors at some parts of the video... if I convert the mpeg to something like wmv or avi, will the problem be solved?

hmmm... i wonder if this will work with today's updated editions of this software and Windows 7 we will see...
If you're using the newest version of VLC, just go to File > Advanced open and follow the same instructions.

Hey guys, all of the same options are still on VLC Player, you simply have to look for them. For instance: in my version of VLC (more recent than the video post, I'm sure) I simply searched around a bit, and you go through Media > Convert/Save > Add > Click Convert/Save > Insert Destination File > Select Settings Profile > click the icon for "Edit Selected Profile" and choose encapsulation and codecs. > Start.
Wake up and troubleshoot.
