  • I never understood, if he had a chance of having someone to care for him and love him like marisa tomei, why didn't he give it a chance instead of commiting suicide?

  • @Tusc9969 Because when he's on the verge of jumping he looks up and marisa tomei has already left, hence why he decides to jump

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. Mickey Rourke should have won the Occar. So many times I've taked to men who've seen this film, so many times they say they wept. Mickey Rourke is the actor of our generation. He is a symbal, an icon.

  • @wasteland70 I agree, great movie and incredible performance by Mickey Rourke

  • step brothers lmao

  • thumbs up if you came here for sweet child o' mine

  • @wasteland70 one of the greatest soul-touching movies ever

  • @Makingnewnamesisdumb i do agree that ultimately it has very little to do with the technical aspect of wrestling, as an avid fan of wrestling, if you look into it, this move has everything to do with wrestling. The guys that commit their lives to the business are exactly like mickey rourke's character. In reality the wrestling business can be very cruel, very hard, and very isolating and a lot of former wrestlers are left in shambles like this.

  • RIP

  • I was shocked by this movie, because in fact it really has very little to do with wrestling when all is said and done. It runs far deeper than that.

  • Whem I'm sad and depressed being a Wrestling Fan is the only thing that keeps me happy

  • Powerful. Nuff said.

  • I fucking LIVE this movie

  • @ThisisJamesman Well I don't disagree completely with their decision... Penn did a fantastic job, as he usually does in just about every role he's put in... I just thought Mickey Rourke's resurgence in this role made his performance all the more believable and, in the end, probably more memorable. I do think the Oscars are still important though being as how they're probably the most prestigious American film awards. I'm with you though, I would've given the award to Rourke.
