if you look at the data of the worldbank for 2010 Russias gdp per capita in ppp is 19,000$ while that of Brazil is 11,000. Shakalin is one of the most rich states in russia due to oil and gas. what it lacks is the infrastructure, there is no port there, all supply comes from the air. It will change in the future if Russia builds a tunnel to connect the island to the mainland.

Very Interesting Town Sakhalin in Russia , i allways wanted to go over to visit.

After i spend my time in Sakhalin & Moscow in Russia , i would then get back on the plane to England to get right out of Russia far away as possible.

I would like to visit Russia Sakhalin Island , the Island where Alexander Godunov was born in 1949 & find out where he grew up etc. I would like to visit Moscow in Russia aswell but Russia Sakhalin is where i definetly want to go the most. I know if i flew to Russia i would land at the Main Moscow Airport . I would then get the next plane from Moscow to Sakhalin , stay in a few Hotels , spend a few days in Sakhalin to look round the area etc & i then fly back to Moscow to spend a few days.

so what can I say about this?-as GDP per capita in Russia is the same as that of Brazil (you may google to check) - and as we know that in Amazonia jungle Indians are still walking naked , then, taking into consideration that remoutness and wilderness of this Russian region may well be compared to that of Amazonia for Brazil - so then my verdict would be the following - not that great, ofcource, but not bad really....we don't expect to see here a suburb of London, marcgodbolt, right? or do we?
