This video descirbes how to change a sicssor jack in to a stabilizer. You will need to be a good metal fabrucator, know how to use a cutoff saw and a welder.
@samy9x RV stores carry 24" and 30" jacks. Car jacks have a third cross arm but are smaller and you can find them in junk yards. HarborFreght carries the 24" RV jack at a real low price. You may have to cut one down to the size you need. Good luck.
hi.sorry for disturb.but may i ask you a question?i am currently doing a project related to scissor jack..i need to buy those manual scissor jack in small size but not the one for car.can u suggest any place that i can find all types of scissor jack?thanks alot.
Hey Jerry I have found out also that the shorter the sicissor action is the more stable stability you will get, add some blocking under the footing to shorten the sicissor action
