Louis Vuitton Vernis Brea MM in Rouge Fauviste Handbag Review

This is the newest bag addition to my collection, the Louis Vuitton Vernis Brea MM in Rouge Fauviste, which I adore!! Rouge Fauviste is a gorgeous maroon color with purple undertones, kind of a mix between Amarante & Violette Vernis. This was a "happy 2010", kind of early Christmas gift from my wonderful hubby. I haven't used it yet (taking it out to lunch tomorrow!) - so after I do, I'll do another video for "what fits in a Brea MM".

Do u know if the PM size has been discontinued? I dont see it on the website anymore =[

Yes, I think it has been. When I was originally looking at the Brea back in October 2010, I was looking into the PM size to compare which one would be better for me. (PM size is pretty tiny, btw - wouldn't hold all of my daily essentials I found out.) It was not in stock in Oct 10 and they were not expecting to get any more in. Just FYI, PM Brea only came in Amarante, Pomme, & the Rose Flourentin - NOT in Rouge Fauviste. So If you want RF, you'd have to get MM or GM anyways.

Hi, thanks for sharing. I was looking on the LV website and I love this bag. I was just wondering since I can't tell by the pics online, but does the color have like a sparkly finish to it?

@thepmala - It's shiny, but not glittery or anything like that. It's a subtle shine. So could easily work in daytime or dressed down with jeans. Hope that helps!

Thanks! It's not too heavy, it definitely weighs more than a canvas bag (Neverfull or Monty GM) with the same amount of things in it - but for someone who was used to carrying Balenciaga bags (very light bags!), the Brea MM in Vernis is not too bad.
