Can someone help me? I made it so applescript opens when I login, and I made the command for finder to shut down. Now every time I log in, my computer shuts down. How do I stop it?

How would I tell Terminal to say a command like "defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES" ?

usually stuff like scripts is strictly the domain of advanced experts. i wouldn't come within a mile of it for sheer fear of a typo that could ruin my laptop.
really delighted to find it is actually really accessible.
