Federal New Democrat Candidate for Brant Marc Laferriere and Federal New Democrat Health Critic MP Megan Leslie (Halifax) visit Brantford Ontario for the "Local Ideas Listening Tour on Health Care."

They meet with several agencies including The Aboriginal Health Centre, The Association of Ontario Health Centres, The Grand River Community Health Centre, PSW Canada and The Ontario Personal Support Worker Association.

This documentary begins at The Station Coffee House and Gallery in Brantfrod for an informal chat with seniors. The bulk of this documentary shows a fascinating Community Discussion on Health Care that takes place at the Brantford Senior Resource Centre between Marc, Megan and the voters of Brantford.

  • I would like to put forward the idea of taxing alternative medicine. 3.3 million Canadians** use alternative medicine. I got news for you folks, if it works and is proven to work, IT’S MEDICINE! If the medicine cannot stand up to a double blind test, then tax it.
