Here's a video test run of my Prius 'homemade" Nav and Reverse Camera System using a Magellan 1700 and a Pyle License Plate Camera. Works great!

  • I'm using a Monster 3.5 mm to RCA AV cable going through a 3-way AV switch. The trick to make it work is to plug the red audio cable to the yellow video output. The Magellan 1700 for some reason has the red and yellow inputs inverted. A good thing about the switch is that you could use the 1700 as a monitor for video game consoles and other sources while acting as a GPS and a backup monitor but you have to switch the said cables.
