my bali part 2

Of over 80 hours of film, recorded during my one year stay on Bali in 2001, I edited this 45 minute long 'best of'. it consists of five parts basically:
1) my home (kos) in Kesiman
2) some ceremonies and dance performances I witnessed
3) my peronal music and dance experiences
4) my fields of research (gamelan rindik and kecak)
5) the music that I continue teaching: gamelan beleganjur.

It is a very personal impression of Bali, 'my Bali' as it was in 2001.
my bali part 2 includes:
- upacara with baris gede
- gamelan angklung at a cremation ceremony (ngaben)
- a 'weird' gamelan at an inauguration ceremony (melaspas)
- wayang lemah at a ngaben
- ugal lesson with I Gusti Ngurah Padang (panyembrama)
