@joshster89 I promise you that the patient didn't swallow all that! The dentist is using a lingual fix (the white thing you see holding the tongue over away from the tooth) That is attached to a slow speed suction. So all that nasty stuff gets sucked away. You can also see the assistant comes in with the white high speed suction tube to pull away as much debris as possible. So the patient is being very well taken care of. :)
maybe it's because this is an older video so the methods of obtaining the image of the prep might have changed, but i don't understand why you carved, powdered, and took a picture of the impression material. I thought you just needed the image of the prep, the antagonist, and the occlusion.
