Phil Nibbelink animated and directed this entire film over the course of 5 years. Phil personally drew each of the 112,000 drawings and painted all the backgrounds.

The film is opening in a limited number of theaters from Oct 27 '06. Here is a list of theaters it is playing:

  • Phil solo-animated the entire film in his home studio. He drew every frame and painted all the backgrounds -an immense, massive amount of work, that usually takes years for a large studio of artists. Looks pretty good to me ... regardless of that.

  • lol the ship there on looks like the titanic, and theres a scene like the one in titanic too

  • Did they die like shakespear's version?

  • @ilikethedolphins they get married in the original play, too :) i should know because our drama club were originally goin 2 perform this but we had to do King Lear instead. :)

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! What a fun & cute trailer! Thanks for posting it! I remember when this played at a local theater for a short time when it was first released. Yowzers! Looks pretty dang good for a film that was animated & directed by ONE man! Hope it was a successful release for Mr Nibbelink & his production company.
