You are fantastic and make it look so easy! I'm making a spring garden cake this weekend and I think I might have to try this. Thanks so much for taking the time to make this tutorial.

Thankyou Elaine I found this video very interesting, having just got into sugarcraft myself. I made a cake which had 2 ladybirds that I made using gumpaste, but I found the gumpaste had little cracks in it so I found what you said about rubbing the white fat onto your hands made a lot of sense as it was more likely my hands taking the moisture out of the gum paste which made it crack. Many thanks. will defo be having a look at your website. Elaine.

thank you so much for the tutorial...how did you attach it to the toadstool?

Glad you like it, I attached it using a sugarstick that I stuck to the back of his wings, that I then pushed into the toadstool.

@MysticalMischief couldn't you use licorice sticks and harden it instead of metal?

@snowy123ist Hiya, I suppose you could, I've never tried drying spagetti out though so don't know the outcome of that. You could use very thinly rolled flowerpatse if you'd like to keep it completely edible.
