Hi i haven't even started my invisalign treatment but i am considering getting the first four retainers and then order a metal retainers for night time wear or i might just get the bonded retainers if I'm given the option. I don't like the idea of paying a 200 a year or so for retainers forever.

Bonded retainers only hold the anterior teeth, so you will need to have something to hold the posterior teeth on an indefinite basis, whether as Vivera or as traditional metal retainers. The Vivera comes as a subscription of 4, with our patients finding them last over a year (and still going). Depending on the amount your doctor charges, the ongoing cost could be less than $100/year.
