I love how Kate put the spitting in the scene later against Cal, using what Jack had taught her. That was Kate's idea btw. Rose was suppose to stick Cal with a hairpin. (lame) Kate told James Cameron that she should spit in his face because Jack had taught her how. ( I have the script lol)

i still remember watching this film when it first came out on vhs (anyone still remember those? hahah) more than 12 years ago. can't have been a lot more than 8, but still remember that night so clearly. 3hrs of a whopping film on multiple vhs. this is one of the scenes i remember vividly, and wondered where it was when i saw the new version a couple of years ago. thank you for stirring up memories of that night again. precious.
