@wizetezie No... it's because Kinabalu is only 4000s meters height, and and the highest peak of Jayawijaya that we call Puncak Jaya is 5030 m height. Don't you know that tropical climate will cover the place under 23,5 degree northern and southern from equatorial line? And the position of Papua-Indonesia and Malaysia are not further than 11 degree. The snow only covers the place that higher than 4800 at the tropical area. It means... Kinabalu is not the highest mountain on SE Asia..

@DionisiusSundoro it is because...west papua is farther away than the equatorial line than the Kinabalu... so... the climate in west papua is literally cooler than of in Sabah...So, the Kinabalu mountain doesn't have snow on top of the peak... btw, hve a nice day fren...regards..;p
