use DC (Direct Current) on your coil not AC (Alternating Current) that is what's making the noise

i hate that accent

@BonziBuddys i'm dutch i'm not that good in english i hope you understand
-
@BonziBuddys yeah that or you don't have inuf amp/volts
-
what is making that sound when you turn the electromagnet on?
-
i like to do it do it... i like to do it do it..i like to do it do it..we like to ... do it!!!
-
@BonziBuddys is that only when you put music in it or when you just turn it on?
-
I have a 2 way radio amplifier that makes the same noise, but it's running on DC. Could this noise also mean the relay is bad?

@donnnyplato1 I'm not even a native speaker and I can understand... maybe you should learn english...

What stuff can we find relay , radio or what ?

Relays are commonly used as a switch to control high loads with a small voltage.
You can find them mostly in control circuits, for example in timers controlling industrial motors.

How would you make a relay, with a battery? Not a transformer.

You could make a relay with a battery, but then you will have to construct an electromagnet. Wrap a flux insulated copper wire around a ferromagnetic core (A soft metal) and connect to power supply. I'm sure that you have done this in your childhood. However the magnetic field created by the electromagnet should be adequate enough to attract the armature. In order to have a high magnetic field increase the number of turns of the coil and supply a high voltage (Comment if help needed)
