I am very pleased to see adventures with Kohlberg's work posted in YouTube. It's a great way to get people involved in a dialog about moral development. However, as one who has studied and taught the material for over two decades, it concerns me to see the interview inaccurately presented and the responses in accurately scored.

You didn't ask the question correctly.
In Kohlberg's question, the man tried to raise money, and raised $1000. He then asked the guy who discovered the medicine if he culd give him $1000 for it, or maybe finish off the rest of the payments later.
Just saying that you should have included that, it would have seriously improved your results. It would have affected the responses, and allowed you to pinpoint the stages more accurately.

@tiggerwow Well said!

Yes, it never says anything about there being any other resources what if he did all he could have done to save her life.
I say he didn't do anything wrong because no one was hurt

@LubricatedBeat Again, I'd love to hear your thoughts on why its flawed, not simply that it is. Until then, your comments are completely worthless and very immature.

@blackstar0757 Why were you being such a bitch? tigger gave legitimate criticism as your presentation was flawed. Chill out

I don't think the woman on 3:03 is Stage 5, Stage 5 says "Smoothly functioning society is not necessarily a good one." So I guess, she is most likely in stage 4 "Maintaining the social orders"

here again in a country that say had healthcare would not have the CHOICE too refuse, butt: just like in "Canada" can you hear me now! Said too one of their democratic societys healthcare recipient who died and was reported this was reported on CNN so see it for your self that she had not suffered enough. Nice people were hanging w/huh? Get it?,,,hanging Lets party,,,or NOT! cake.

You didn't create the situation intended. You didn't specify all resources were depleted and that the cure was being sold many times more then it costs to make which is crucial as it creates the 6th level. Yes, because a human life is worth more than money OR No, because 1 life is worth less than many.
Good job! I'm a psychologist, and I thought this was very good. I'd like to say that I'm surprised by some of the mean comments you've received from people, but I'm really not that surprised. If the Internet has taught us anything, it's that the work of people like Milgram and Zimbardo was correct in stating that anonymity brings out the worst in people; I doubt they'd behave so badly if they had to face you and say those things to you in person. Just ignore them.

@Sheldonwh Thank you so much for the kind words! You're totally right about Milgram and Zimbardo-- anonymity does truly bring out the venom in people.

Kohlberg actually removed the sixth stage as he found that too few people met the criteria. It is considered to be somewhat of a theoretical stage, similar to Maslows hierarchy of needs level of self-actualization.

Thank you for the interesting comments. This was a video done for my sister's psychology class, and I'm sure she stressed the fact that these classifications were of her own choosing. I think you've captured the main point though; to really listen into responses and dig deeper into their thoughts.
