Well I guess that it was bound to happen, its was just a matter of time.... Ted came to a decision and decided she wanted to have fun and live a little. She has fallen in love for the first time. She has a sweet guy who is very kind and considerate so I know she's in good hands (so to speak) He's a gardeners son and he is really very nice. He writes her poetry and she learns every line. I know she wants to go to Switzerland to study cordon bleu and conversation (she doesn't say much) I don't know how it will all turn out.. Maybe you'll have to wait for the next song .....

  • Great song - and I love your intro..safe porridge :) Very nice guitar work - what is that lovely sounding chord you use - on the words ..."spread them".... in the chorus (Your holding the chord during your intro too?)-Marian

  • hi marian, is an augmented form of an Em.. not quite sure what its called but i use it a lot.. really emotional..

  • People, let your children go. It is a fantastic song.

Nestor and Brownie always come home as we have excellent porridge here. And Thaddeus always has open door except when alone or at night when he goes in voluntarily and demands to be locked in and covered up.

  • love is like running water.. can't hold on to it and stop it running..

  • Well sung. Vin Garbutt's version is now on YouTube. I always request this song when i see him perform. The original version, sung by Artisan, is also great..

  • thank you.. both are brilliant.. its just a fantastic song..
