Well in fairness, I can understand people suggesting he needs to harden up and not take losses so hard. Most successful athletes realize that losses teach you something for next time, and if you can remember that, handling a loss can be easier.
HOWEVER, for a kid his age to likely have worked as hard as he did, losing in that moment is a bitter pill to swollow, and so people should have a little more compassion than running him down for being emotional following a loss!

Nothing unusual about a youngster being really upset at losing and feeling shit. I'd be more concerned about the creepy, invasive cameraman quietly filming his every move...
