  • Is this the same as an alternator belt. And will it be the same on a Mitsubishi Mirage, 1998?  Thanks bunches.

  • No it will not. You can assume that the belt will slip sometimes so timing is not dependant on this belt. Timing is actually very precise using gears inside the engine.
