The English do have a way with words and expression, there's no denying that. I think this Englishman is cool, polite and (from what I can tell from this interview) a down to earth kind of guy.

@MissKilman It's probably a reaction to the same questions he gets asked in every interview. Like there's really no reason to mention Jennifer, but they always do.

@MissKilman Yeah I think he's hot haha that's the simple reason why I watch the interviews :P But it's a shame he isn't very original in his awnsers. I love beautifull mind though and he is cool in Davinci Code.

@TheGlossie Yeah, he has three jokes he repeats every time: that one, the "my wife is very plain up close" one and the one (which he surprisingly didn't do here) he makes when they ask him about on-screen nudity: "if it's absolutely necessary for the part, I'll leave my clothes on".
(I watch his interviews a lot, because I like him but for the most part can't stand his movies :P)

@TheGlossie It's because he is frequently asked how it was working with the more "famous" actors such as Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford etc. And everyone always mentions his wife and how beautiful she is often in a manner that makes it seem as if he is unworthy of her. I think those remarks are a classy way of saying...let's talk about MY movie shall we, as I am here for you to interview me, not my wife, not Johnny Depp or any of the other actors I may have worked with.
