They are better singers and dancers than comedians, but this is still pretty funny.

it ain't funny

The Ritz Brothers' comedy is admittedly dated, but they are quite funny when viewed in the context of the time they made their films. Their comedy, like others of their era, is an extension of the vaudeville act they had perfected over the years; zany comedy and precision singing and dancing. To truly appreciate their talent, check out their song & dance performances in the films The Three Musketeers and On The Avenue.

That's "one county" heard from. I find them to be almost as unfunny as Olsen & Johnson. They seem like a poor man's version of the Stooges and about 1/8 as funny.

The Ritz Brothers may not be as highly regarded today as the Marx Brothers or Laurel and Hardy, but their influence on future comedians was great. Harry Ritz, who plays the hotel manager in this short subject, is generally considered to be the funniest of the brothers, and Mel Brooks has called him ". . .the funniest man ever." Jerry Lewis, Sid Caesar, and Milton Berle have all acknowledged their debt to him.
