@SomeKindOfBand I think the problem was that people would buy the clothing and think they were punk just to be part of the trend.
If you don't resonate with the music, don't carry the punk attitude, then your image doesn't match with your personality. If you have an image contrary to who you really are, you're a "poser".

@TheRedzepplin And of course nobody should restrict themselves to one certain influence. Punk is a very big influence on me yeah, it has been for a lot of years. But you form an original and complex peronality by taking on different influences and adding your own ideas to them right? I'm ramblin' though.

@TheRedzepplin I agree. But there´s also the style aspect to it. People want to dress a certain way to show their ideals apparently, seems a bit unnecessary to me though.
