Racing. Pushing the limits. Gaining some, loosing some. Finding the balance between driving the boat hard without loosing too much time when the call to change sails is made. This includes the constantly updated holistic knowledge of boat, crew and equipment condition. This is the art of a professional skipper. It comes naturally without effort to the good ones. You can recognise them through the actions of their crew.

i similar scenario once but on a smaller scale, got caught 20kms out of the gc seaway in 35kt winds on a 50ft boat and even tho there was some big bloddy waves i was so fascinated about how the boat handled it was pretty fun actually. love the ocean.

Please tell me the music. I've seen this video several times in the last couple of years and I would love to know where the music comes from. Very nice and perfect for the video. Powerful.
