PINKIE LEE RULES

I seem to remember that Pinky Lee barfed on stage during one of his TV shows. I was only 3 yrs old at the time.....maybe this was when the screen went to a test pattern.

Not bad, but I prefer Buffalo Bob and Howdy Doody.

Yes, well, like I say, I was a real little kid watching the TV all by myself, and I know my memory may be clouded by my young perceptions and the many (too many)years that have passed. That's why I'd like to compare the film with the way I remember it, and see what the similarities and differences are. If the film doesn't exist, then I'll have to ask for a film review when I get to heaven.

Youre saying he clutched his chest? He didnt actually have a heart attack on-air,even though thats been repeated for years, he just collapsed,he had the flu and was in bad shape, but went on with his show anyway.I have a feeling the film doesnt exist, but I hope Im wrong...

I was wondering that, too. I remember watching that show. He just started an intro, "Ha ha ha ha kids, listen to this" then he clutched his chest and said, "Somebody grab me - Grab me quick" and he fell out. I thought it was a gag part of his routine, but then the screen went blank and the test pattern came on. I thought he died or something. It would be interesting to waatch it again after all these years and see if I remember it as it really happened.

My mom was visiting last nite and to amuse her I decided to show her clips of her old favorite shows from the 40s/50s on youtube. And thank god above I did. Because I have discovered my new god and savior - this man, this miracle, PINKY LEE.

I remember a song, 'Yoo Hoo it's me ,my name is Pinky Lee, with my funny hat and checkered coat and a funny giggle in my throat, put that all together and that means , ooo, ooo, ooo, PINKY.
I think that's the way it went.
It's been a long time!
