@RoblixianRager With the exception of SMW, where he just spits fire and uses shell attack thingy, and nothing else tries to kill you.

When a koopaling gets in a lift with you, the sheer awkwardness of the situation is such that it gives Mario a heart attack.

Yep. That's all you do in every level.

You can stop the doors disappearing on Ludwig's Castle level (Hotel 5). Go in one of the doors on one of the levels (can't remember which now; 1, 2 or 3, under an archway). You get a cut scene where Mario puts on some kind of spell repellent and the doors now stay visible. This game had great lyrical music.
