I love Iron Maiden, but he is not really a good solo drummer. Until you realize Neil Peart, you're just living in the dark...

nicko and neil are both great drummers. their styles seem to have similiarities. neil uses more types of percussion like bells and electronics. i'm not aware that nicko uses anything but regular drums.

@gordonfan32 tonight I was at an evening event in munich with nicko mcbrain, and he said, that he doesn't like Dave Lombardo as a drummer ;) (true story)

Actually this video was released for Nicko Rhythms of the Beast tour in 1991 but the video states that when Nicko is talking about his kit, he says it was used on the last Iron Maiden Tour Seventh Tout of a Seventh Tour no reference to the 1990 No Prayer on the Road Tour which It was also used in with these Cymbals, So It must have been filmed in 1989 the Year Maiden had a year off, and the Year the Paiste Signature Line was Lauched
