Featured in this movie are 15 structures that have been demolished or will be facing the wrecking ball in massena. some were in rough shape and others were just demolished to make way for parking lots and stale looking new stores. what a shame! old beautiful homes and structures gone! with a little love they could have been saved. but nobody in massena preserves the old homes. money always buys out people when it comes to this. typical. nearby potsdam, canton and ogdensburgh have wonderful old structures. less and less character every year in massena.

THE FULL VERSION OF A MASSENA PHOTO ALBUM 1897- 2007 is now on sale. the movie is 90 minutes long with over 500 photos and interviews and me as the host. contact me for a copy through here. I will then make a copy for you. the videos featured here are just a sample of the full-length movie. if your are interested please contact me

  • My husband is from Massena, Used to live on Amherst. I remember bowling at the Seaway Bowl with him when we used to visit. Too much progress. They should leave well enough alone.

  • Lincoln School was right up my street. I was at school when they were demolishing it. At the end of the day, When I got to my stop, All I saw was rubble. :/ That school was haunting the whole time it was on my street. :P
