I thought he couldn't cross his own timeline. That's why he couldn't save Galifrey. Is that what they're doing? Because I'm not sure.

@fuzzyrox3 Christopher Ecclestone was already a respected actor before taking on the Doctor role. The reason he left it was because he didn't want to be 'typecast' as the Doctor, meaning he didn't want to be seen as the Doctor and used in similiar roles for the rest of his career, as can happen. It's a shame he left as he was a good doctor imo, and I liked his more serious side, but then Tennant joined the show and took things further
