    it doesn't look like it will make a big difference if he'll follow that rule you're saying. It looks more legal than other chinese national players' serves. Most of Wang's points were from rallies.

  • @DaKrazedKyubizt The rule is that the ball must be tossed a minimum of 16mm or 6 inches from a FLAT palm above the level of the table and in complete view from the opponents perspective. Wang's hand is clearly cupped around the ball with the thumb hiding it until it reaches around Wang's Chin level. It is technically an illegal service, but one that wouldn't be called by an ump because they're watching from a biased view.

  • @LookB3hindU what are you talking about? both players' serves look totally legal to me.

  • Wang's service is technically illegal. I can't even see the ball in his palm from a high angle Lin probably can't see it until it's around Wang's head level.
