i cant get SSH to do the generate crypto key generate on my Packet Tracer router? Are the routers too old for that?
ip domain-name cisco.coom crypto key generate rsa
(choose a modulus of 1024 when asked by the script)
line vty 0 4 login local exit username admin privilege 15 secret cisco
Make sure the interfaces are up, and you have an IP address that is reachable.
This was done on 2811 routers in packet tracer.
