@Dopplershift I totally agree, they could have gone on for another 5 seasons telling it from a right wing moderate perspective. although I think they only did it the way they did because they knew it was going to be the final season. It is actually good they did though, because looking back, they totally predicted Obama's win!! :)

@tumadoireacht It's not so idealised, Amy gets fired how many times for being noisy in a company town? They achieve very little in their second term, do they even pass the damn college tax break in the end? The biggest thing they accomplish in that term they can't take credit for because of backroom politics, to say nothing of the wars, covert assassination and Bartlet's lie of omission that verges on election fraud. My biggest complaint (and I'm left-leaning) is that Vinick should have won.

@slightlygrouchy well I used to work on a sub, I've been out since 2003, lol. Unfortunately, it didn't do any good for me back then, although it meant that "badge bunnies" who will sleep with any navy guy without knowing his name, were available...but I wasn't interested in that. I'm actually a badge bunny myself, just not to that extent lol (and, toward females not males)...

@neutrino78x - I know quite a few of ugly intellectuals with pretty partners. And if you really feel that you are unattractive, try a beard. It does miracles for lots of people. Plus, use your iq to be funny. Wit, intelligence and self confidence are ten times more useful than looks (this combination is also what makes Josh attractive to women). A degree is totally irrelevant. I have an MA and nobody cares. The fact that you work on a sub must be a wonderful icebreaker at parties.
