@moviehippo ok, so let me get this straight....you are calling the Official Seattle Mariners "Sweet 116" video as your own "footage"? Which clips of yours did you actually film? Please, I'm dying to know. This guy is using the clips just like you did....please explain yourself....

Man that was such a special team, what a thrill it was to witness that. I was about 14 at the time, and I just ate up every single game. It was so awesome. It gives me goosebumps.

That's actually where you're wrong. The copyright on the footage is in the Seattle Mariners name. They reserve all rights to the footage found within the package they licensed from MLB.

First off, I got permission, second, he used my exact edits including effects from long sections of my video. The term footage does not pertain to the person who shot the film but the rights to the distance of film shot. Regardless, I think it's fine he used it. It's not like I freaked out or demanded he take it down. Incidentally, pieces of it were used in a Quick Flix at Safeco Field produced by Flying Spot.
