YUo should wacth the movie :Buck. He trains horses unhumanily and what you are doing is killing your horse emotionly... I know this is how they did in the oldens, but try doing it a different way!!!

very good way to break a horse. If you really want a broken horse then ur on the right track... if you want a friend for life and a horse that lets you ride him because he loves you then you should be going alot slower or if u dont wanta eat dirt then u should be going slower. (not tryin to be a know it all just sayin... I cant really say much cuz i've seen 1 horse broken and 1 horse tamed. The broken horse broke 3 ribs and 2 fingers before she gave in and the other was tamed by a 12 year old.

that colt looks small

dont listen to all the ppl who coddle their horses so much and never let them feel even a little scared so that when they cross something on the trail and their horse cant handle it and they eat dirt. you keep cowboyin it and just dont pay no attention to the know it alls.

@jamiehorsesxoxo it gives the colt a horse to buddy up with and follow off. It works great when done right.
In response to the description on this vid:
No, this is what happens when you do something stupid. Take it MUCH slower when you break a horse and they won't do that. If you move too fast, you're just going to ruin the horse for life.
