Riding west down I-694. There are big plans for this road in the future so I thought I'd show it off the way it is right now. Scenes include footage of the new 35e/694 weave interchange just recently completed.

  • Do you live in Minnesota State ? Is there some work in your state ? And what kind of work is the speciality of this city ?

  • @3MostHolyTrinity3 Yep, I live here. I don't know about out-state, but the Twin Cities has the lowest unemployment than any other metro in the country. It also has the largest economy in the Midwest outside of Chicago. Historically, lumber and flour built the city but it's too diverse to have a speciality these days.

  • are you a cop?

  • @hola1234553 No. Why on earth....

  • @eluko79 You might know that I have some videos up on my channel that cover about this same amount of territory. My question is this: do you think it's better to do timelapse videos like this or would it be good to do realtime videos so you can actually see the signs on the freeways and things?

  • @bytor55110

I guess it depends on the amount of territory I'm trying to cover. I'll slow down the speed if its a short route or if there's a lot of stuff to see. On a route like this I'll speed it up so folks wont get bored halfway through. I try to make my videos around 5 minutes, which is about how long my internet attention span is.

  • Just an FYI, the 694 expansion project between 35W and 35E has been shelved indefinitely due to a lack of funds (just like the majority of other metro area projects). The interchange at 694/51/10 is set to be reconstructed starting spring 2011. The plan is on the city of Arden Hills website. The plans currently eliminate the weave allowing for 2 through lanes on 694 with bridges that could accommodate a future 3rd lane in each direction.

  • So nice that they are done with all that BS threw there finnally it was so bad and i hated driving threw there when it was going on

  • I can see why there are big plans for this road more lanes are way overdue.

Your dad is one lucky dude!
