This is a prove that Nobel Prize is a politic prize... For example: Jorge Luis Borges is, in my opinion, the best writer ever. He was never awarded because of his political views.

And now the President of the United States (the nation that most affects the world) is awarded? COME ON!

I dont know whether awarding the nobel prize to obama was an act of ass-kissing or the cleverest trick by the nobel committee. Most of the observant people know tat Obama values his image dearer than anything else. By awarding him the peace prize they are making him dance to their wishful tunes. Or maybe it cud turn into the most embarrasing moment in the history of the nobel commitee. Either way, I think he would be restrained/ influenced to a certain degree, since he has accepted the award.

Wow, I love how you blame an ENTIRE country for a few people's decision. You certainly shouldn't be awarded the prize.

However it's pretty clear that by giving the peace price to someone who completely doesn't deserve the reputation and value of a nobel prize has diminished.

Makes me glad that none of you were sitting on the committee handing out the prize...you would have probably not given it to anyone and conceded defeat to the fear that has gripped this planet for the first 8 years of this century...why not instead give hope and faith a chance to work.

Obama had been in office for 12-days before nominations closed and he hadn't done any more then than he has now. Our troops are still dying in Afghanistan. Blood is still being spilled and we've shipped torture overseas and out of sight. If Obama had an ounce of diginity, he wouldn't accept this "prize" until and unless he actually earns it! NPP should begin releasing their pick on April Fool's day, because they have lost all credibility.

Norway didn't want Obama to attack Iran, so they got him a 100% political noble prize so he won't attack Iran.
