A simple test of our new Sony HDR-CX7. Video was taken in HD, rendered in Sony Vegas Studio Platinum, and uploaded to YouTube. Still not happy with the YouTube results, but other than that, this is one sweet camera.
So far I like the the CX7. It's very light, so I have some difficulty keeping my hands steady (I'll have to check out a diy steadycam). I wanted a camcorder with as few moving parts as possible (no tape or DVD). I just burn to DVD on my laptop. Sony Vegas worked just fine, just make sure you get a version that supports AVCHD (or just record to MPEG2 for now).
The other video"aunt anni" or something looks good was that with the CX7
Can I ask how you like the camera and how was it to upload and render in sony vegas?
