My favourite episode of "The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh". This is dedicated to my friend Topsy (MadCapAithne), who stuck by me, keeping me company while I worked my ass off to make this possible. (c) Disney and A.A. Miline, No Copyright Infringement intended. Thanks for watching.

  • oh god. don't cry, don't cry.

  • He's gone mad! XD

  • Yay! This is the episode where Rabbit becomes a Daddy! ^_^ I loved this episode and Rabbit, he was my most favorite character out of the series/franchise. And I adored his relationship with his daughter Kessie. In this and in the Book of Pooh as well. I hope they will be shown again in the upcoming Pooh film.

  • 8:20 Now, why did that happen?

  • When I was a kid, and saw this episode, I named my puppy after the bird in this episode. "Kessie"

  • "I don't care what happens to her!" *walks out laughing maniacally*

    *Kessie wails*

*runs frantically back inside and scoops Kessie up*

    LOL

  • Oh my god, this episode made me so sad when I was a kid.

Well, I imagine that was a decision they made pretty early on in development. Probably the earlier concept proposals had them being in a book and interacting with the narrator like before, but for whatever reason they decided to just treat it straightforward. Maybe they felt that what worked well as a framing device in short featurettes would be constraining in a television format. It'd be interesting to know how they arrived at that decision.

  • @Marbles471 And there were NO FOURTH WALL JOKES about them being in a book! They practically forgot that fact!

  • @MichaelSar12IsBack

That's something I never got about the TV series-----Rabbit being green instead of yellow. It was a weird color design choice. They've changed him back to yellow in the more recent films, thankfully.
