JamiexLeex91, I completely agree. Cheno is my idol. She is soooo amazing. Anyone who says otherwise is retarded. Like you said. Wicked, Charlie Brown, Emmy, Tony, and many other accomplishments dont go to untalented sqeaky voiced people.

so you're saying helpful mothers put her in Wicked in Broadway, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown to win an Emmy and to have her win a Tony too? And I guess helpful mothers allowed her to perform Opera at the Metropolitan, NY. I think if you are coloratura soprano and have a four-octave-vocal range, your voice would also be on the high side unless you are doing some falsetto business.

Not at all. It's a misunderstanding. That was just an example of the kind of child who would talk in this way. As a European I'm not used to it in children, let alone adults.
You could say it's related to her singing range but most sopranos (even such light sopranos) have regular range speaking voices.
Sorry for any offense. I have full respect for her startling career and her fan base.
