i never run turndowns anymore, don't like exhaust in the cabin, i don't even run them on my trucks since i hate the drone turndowns make, i always do side exits Lightning style and full tails on cars and SUV's
i do like the muffler choice, most people don't know that they sound like a FM40 but half the price, i may put one on my Suburban to see how it sounds

Terribly sweet sounding to me!!! Think I'll do the same on my 98 P71...very soon. The Thrush weldeds sound every bit as nasty as the Flowmaster 40's at less than 1/2 the price. Yeah, I know they're made in China, Flow fans. But I think I'll get over it.
i have the same set up. but my h pipe is only a 2in. and thursh welded dont have a 2in muffer. smalest thay have is 2 1/4 so i used a spacer. on them . thay sound really good!! well just like yours. but how did you get the muffer to work with the 2in H pipe? ever parts store i went to told me NOPE thursh weild dont make a 2in. so i went with the 2 1/4. weatin on the tail pipes right

I used the 2.5" mufflers and made some adapters from some spare pipe I had laying around.

And The Correct Part # Is 17655 For The Record

The part number didn't matter, since I didn't have the original tail pipes to put back on.

The text "outlet" facing toward the rear of the car is a dead giveaway that they're not on backwards.
