Some well known atheists that do not show such tolerance towards others like the Christians, or other groups such as the Hindus, Jews, etc: Stalin (who did indeed have to sign an agreement that he renounced his being a Christian in order to be a commie/atheist), Mao, Kim Jong Il. islam and atheism have more in common than not in their intolerance.

Hahahahaha. Ummm, I doubt it will stay in that form for long. The thesis is true, but the presentation (much as I love it) will be amended soon. They won't change it because of its disrespect but because it breaks many of the formatting guidelines.
Damn!

With requiring the Hajj maybe Allah was not showing much foresight. Throughout the Hajj progression there are many bottlenecks (ie the stoning of the Devil). As it is with the modern ease of travel and ONLY 1.6 or so billion Muslims the Hajj has become dangerous. In the 2000s so far over 600 people have died. I just do not see how doing the Hajj is practical IF the worldwide Muslim population grew to 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 billion.

I would not call it cheating as they think they are doing as per their religion as Islam does not tell them how much food they should eat after sunset ,
having said that "Cheating" could be considered in as they fool the non muslims by giving the impression that they do not eat anything during fasting .
so it is kinda part time fasting .
my inclination was towards the unhealthy aspect of not eating for day and then stuffing yourself after sunset.

What muslims do is not really fasting. After sunset they can eat as much as they can (kind of fasting with cheating). And many muslins I know eat A LOT during Ramadan. Not very healthy I assume.
Each one has been a gem so far. Keep them coming.

@MsMommaRose Thanks so much. For some reason, this one bugged me a little in a couple of places. But Part XI made me laugh at myself again.

@Craydon I'm always open to input. Think I left out something important?

wikipedia says that during Ramadan , there is an increase in sales of medications related to digestive disorders ,
it is prob due to the nature of fasting ....so it is certainly not good for health.

@blackutube1 Jeez, that's as bad as the whole "spare the rod" thing, with people thinking that it's good to physically discipline kids. Thanks for the pointers.
