The shuttles are kicked from one side to the other by a picker stick and it is driven by picker ball on each side with opposite timing and at the same time the harnesses change position to create the pattern. (The master weaver)

日本の神話には、アマテラスオオミカミはスサノオに驚かされてひ（シャトル）をほとに入れてしまう場面があると思います。
