If you love somebody - you live with him all his life, but can't say about your feelings. Venus don't understood Zoicite, but he continued to love her. He betrayed the Dark Kingdom, Lords, his Queen, but a real Queen for him is only Minako. When she understood, it was too late...
"Wish you were here" shows all pain of loneliness of Dark Lord at the beginning, and Sailor Venus - at the end. They wish, but they can't.
