HISTORY
We all value the memories of our children. About 8 years ago, I created a measuring device that enabled my friends to record their son's height as he grew. I wanted to give their son and his parents something unique that would last a lifetime. My friends loved the measuring pole. About a year later, they encouraged me to sell the pole to others. I left the idea alone until about 3 years ago.
I pursued the idea as my wife and I thought about selling our home. As our children grew, my wife and I would keep up with their growth by marking their height and the date on the door frame. It was a lot of fun for the whole family to keep up with the growth of our children. Unless we had the door frame removed, we would have to leave that memory of our childrens' height behind which would most certainly be painted over by the new homeowners. I knew that it would be very expensive to remove the door frame. That's when I actively pursued the manufacturing of the poles. After three years of research and development with help from friends and family, The Original Growth Pole was created.
The Original Growth Pole is made from 90% recycled material. I'm proud to say that every part is made in America. I know you and your child will receive a lot of joy from owning The Original Growtth Pole.
